De-oiling Fluid Filled Cable Networks.
Fluid filled cable decommissioning is undertaken in line with Energy Networks Association guidance and utilises our expertise in oil filled cable systems. We carry an extensive range of custom made copper or brass caps and other oil fittings and use Oxygen Free Nitrogen to purge the cable of as much oil as is possible. The cables are left with permanent capped ends to ensure no residual oil can leak following the works leaving them in an environmentally sound condition.
